So, for a (rightly) jealous commenter, I tell you a bit about the concert:
The above video is one that Birdie took of Jack Johnson singing and Zach Gill on the accordion.
I think I can say that he played all of our favorites, from new and old albums and that his accompanying band was very good. Zach Gill from the band A.L.O. did the keyboard, back-up vocals and accordion (which was amazing) and some other stuff. One nifty thing was that in the middle of “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing” Jack Johnson started singing part of “Just What I Needed” by The Cars. He also sang “The Joker” by Steve Miller Band. For his encore, he sang “Do You Remember” and “Better Together.” All in all, it was a really fun concert, despite the guy in the row ahead of us who decided to drink a touch too much and do his own motions to ever noun or verb that can be found in a Jack Johnson song. The video is from our concert, but I found it on Youtube. We were not quite so close!
