Products I Love

I do not get paid to recommend these products, this is simply a list of things I find myself recommending in day-to-day life. Just because I am recommending an item, does not mean that I know everything about the company and their reputability. Some of these items I can recommend based on my own experience, others are just suggestions. Enjoy!

  • Fair Trade:

Punjammies (beautiful pajamas made by women rescued from forced prostitution in India. So many colors and patterns-I love mine!)

Haitian Creations (purses, jewelry and and some awesome metal artwork. Proceeds go to empower the Haitian artisans behind the products.)

Tiny Hands (jewelry, fleeces, t-shirts, scarves and bags from an organization I love and trust. Products are made by and go to support Nepalese girls rescued from sex-trafficking.)

Green & Black’s (this is my favorite so far, flavor-wise. The milk chocolate almond bar is my favorite candybar right now!)

Frontier (this is where I buy my cocoa powder…excellent!)

Sunspire (delicious chocolate chips!)

Guittard Extra Semi-Sweet Baking Chips (we get ours at HEB)

Fair-Trade Easter Candies (have yet to try)

Fair-Trade Easter chocolates etc. (have yet to try)

  • Modest Swimwear:

LimeRicki.Com (I have a couple of swimsuits from this site and I really like them! USA-made.)

Mod Cloth (I have never bought a swimsuit form Modcloth, but I’ve loved their other clothes for years. They have great customer service. Some of their vintage-styles are pretty modest.)

Land’s End (Long-time resource for outdoor clothing. I’ve never owned one of their swimsuits, but I know people who love them. They usually have some cute, modest pieces.)

Tools for the Liturgical Year:

Cradle to the Cross Wreath (beautiful, unique, hand-crafted. Can be used for Advent, Lent and Ascension. Proceeds go to a program which helps moms in Haiti. We adore ours.)

Devotions for Lent (I have used this little booklet for two years. Helpful, thought-provoking.)

Jesse Tree Advent Family Devotional (we have used this beautiful Ann Voskamp devotional for two years, and it’s free to print at the link!)

{more to come}

  • Tools for Bible Study:

ESV Study Bible (this is my current favorite)

Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon (really great year-round devotional, giving you a short reading for both the beginning and end to your day…timels

Keep a Quiet Heart by Elisabeth Elliot  (I adore this devotional. It kept my heart quiet during trying times…)

Discipline by Elisabeth Elliot (a truly helpful, engaging look at the spiritual disciplines)

  • Pro-Life Resources:

Abort73 (a great place to find all sorts of awareness resources and information)

40 Days for Life (information, how to join the campaign, news etc.)
